Are BiteBox prepared meals fresh or frozen?
All BiteBox meals are delivered fresh, never frozen. Each meal is sealed for freshness and shipped in insulated packaging to ensure safe and chilled arrival.
What oils do you use?
Our commitment to health-conscious cooking begins with our choice of oils. We predominantly use 100% cold-pressed organic avocado oil in our meals, with some dishes featuring 100% organic, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil. We do not use any seed oils, choosing only the finest, premium quality oils to elevate the nutritional value of our dishes.

Delivery & preparation
How does delivery work?
At this time, your meals are delivered in non-insulated bags, just like a DoorDash order, so if you’re unable to be home at the time of delivery, we recommend leaving out coolers/ insulated bags so our driver can place your order inside and leave it at your doorstep. This will ensure your meals remain at their best quality until you can retrieve them.
Additionally, if you have any special delivery instructions or specific preferences, you can easily add them to your delivery notes. Once the driver arrives, they will deliver your meals to your front door and send a photo of your meals as confirmation of the delivery.
How do I heat up BiteBox meals?
While reheating meals in the oven is the best option to keep nutrients intact, we understand if you're in a time crunch and need to use the microwave.
Oven: Preheat oven to 350° and warm meals for 7-10 minutes or until heated through.
Microwave: 2–3 minutes or until heated through.
